How to apply for a Ias Gap Insurance

- Seller, Lender, General Insurance and Customer provide the requested information
- After receiving all the documents the application for a court is adjudicated and paid if approved.

In order to process this claim, the items below will need to be collected and submitted to IAS. No payments can be made until then

all documents are received and updated.
- Copy before and after GAP contract
- A copy of the police report, and if the vehicle was stolen and recovered, a copy of the recovery report
- At the first insurance company:
- Insurance declaration pages (all pages from the policy show the working time covering this loss date,
- covering a car deemed to be a total loss, and showing all coverage, approvals and deductions)
- A copy of the insurance premium check (all copies if there are multiple checks)
- Insurance adjustment report, i.e., report of CCC, NADA, etc.
- Statement of total loss
- Worksheet for total loss
- From the lender / lender:
- Payment balance from the date of loss
- Payment history
- Initial financial / lease agreement (this can also be obtained from the seller)
- From the seller:
- Consumer order
- Vendor invoice / MSRP invoice (if the car was purchased new)
- Release Paper (if the purchased vehicle has been used)
- Copies of certificates and proof of refund for non-cancellable items (credit life, debt disability, service
- contract or other refunds purchased at the time of sale)
- Please note: All documents must be complete, clear, and legible or they may not be processed, and this will be delayed
