Integrated Health Solutions is proud to be the go-to integrated clinic, combining integrative medicine, rehabilitation and chiropractic care. We strive to offer our patients nothing short of exceptional customer service, a great chiropractic experience, and a commitment to our patients’ health and wellness.

We deliver precise health adjustments using a wide range of treatment plans specially created for your individual needs. We always have one goal in mind: to support your body and the ability to naturally heal itself and relieve pain. We not only want to help you relieve your pain but we want to improve your quality of life.

In 1895 Chiropractic Medicine founder David Daniel Palmer said his chiropractic medicine is, “a science of healing without drugs.”  To become a chiropractor in the US, a student must have a BS, typically in biology or anatomy, and then attend a four-year accredited chiropractic school to obtain a Doctor of Chiropractic.  After graduation, the new Chiropractic DC will have to take a test for a license in the state he or she plans to practice. Each state has an exam, but the exams differ from state to state.

We want you to feel better again. At Integrated Health Solutions, our goal is to reduce your discomfort. We have helped 1,000’s of patients regain their health and function normally!  Chiropractors are trained to treat mechanical disorders found in the musculoskeletal system. They focus on the spine and believe that when the spine is not aligned correctly, it will adversely affect the nervous system, thus causing symptoms like neck pain, back pain, sciatica, headaches, numbing, tingling, shooting pain and much more.  Chiropractors are taught to recognize and to properly diagnose the cause and treat that cause so that the patient can live life to its fullest.  Also, chiropractors are taught how to identify and specifically adjust mis-aligned joints restoring proper function and allowing the body to heal.

One significant benefit of using chiropractic care is that it is affordable. Most health insurance companies approve all or part of any chiropractic services performed on the patient. It is estimated that about 8 million Americans visit a chiropractor for back pain each year. Many medical doctors will suggest chiropractic care to their patients who suffer with back, neck, headaches, knee, shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica and much more.

Another benefit is that no drugs are prescribed or used. Many pain suffers overuse such pain relievers as Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen, which can ultimately adversely affect the kidneys and GI. By using chiropractic medicine, one can significantly reduce reliance on over the counter pain relievers. Also, no drugs are particularly great news for recovering addicts, because chiropractic medicine reduces pain and discomfort without the use of traditional medicines.

At Integrated Health Solutions, we offer non-surgical solutions that will help with your pain from disc herniation, spinal canal stenosis and bulging discs. We use two specific therapies for discs. One is spinal decompression, a treatment that effectively lengthens the spine and helps with the reabsorption of the herniated disc. This movement or change in position will relieve the pressure on the discs, allowing the discs to retract and not sit directly on the nerves. Now with the disc retraction, the disc can get reabsorbed and it will receive the nutrients it needs to heal and also remove the toxins.

Cold laser therapy is another option we use to treat disc herniation and bulging discs. How does cold laser therapy work? The chiropractor will use a low-intensity laser that showers low levels of light to provide heat on the discs to promote healing. This therapy will penetrate to the injured bone and help reduce pain and inflammation. It is a painless procedure that is noninvasive and very effective.

Q Can Chiropractic Care help with headaches?

Chiropractic care can be a very effective and non-invasive approach to relieving and preventing headaches. Treatments can help regardless of the type of headache. We can help tension or migraine headaches, and assist if the cause of the headache is due to stress or posture. The central nervous system, which is comprised of our brain and spinal cord, is the only system that is directly protected by our bones. These bones make up our spine. When certain bones in your neck get out of position and cannot move correctly, it can put stress on your nervous system and the surrounding muscles which then results in headaches. It is imperative to get the proper chiropractic examination to determine the best diagnosis to reduce the frequency of your headaches and ultimately be free of migraine and headache pain.

Q Can Chiropractic help with shoulder pain?

People living with shoulder pain have to deal with aching all the way down the arm with restricted motion. Pain in the shoulder can be very agonizing, whether if it’s from a sports injury or sleeping on it the wrong way.Sometimes shoulder pain can be followed by neck and back pain. When the shoulder aches, it can cause the body to respond in a negative way such as bad posture or limited range of motion resulting in poor biomechanics in other parts of the body. So it is vital for the chiropractor to correctly diagnose the issue before any treatment can begin. Shoulder problems can be tricky because it is usually complex and entails one to check the whole shoulder girdle, not just the shoulder joint. You should seek advice from a medical professional at Integrated Health Solutions if you are unsure of your diagnosis or severity of the condition of your shoulder injury.

Q Can Chiropractic help with carpal tunnel?

One out of 10 people suffers from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), commonly impacting secretaries, computer users, domestic workers, musicians and others that do repetitive tasks with their hands. The carpal tunnel is in your wrist and nerves going through this area may be irritated causing many issues such as pain, tingling, numbness, and weakness of the fingers, hands and wrist.Sometimes your wrist issue may be a misalignment of one or more joints in your neck, shoulder, elbow or wrist. Chiropractic methods that work well with the spine can also be utilized for other joints of the body. Basically every joint is prone to fixations and failures that harm function and range of motion. Trauma, vibrations, and repetitive movements are often the offenders.Often carpal tunnel is the diagnosis for any type of wrist pain, tingling or numbness. While usually, the cause of wrist discomfort stems from the neck. It is vital to get a chiropractic consultation for proper diagnosis of your wrist challenges.
