Firstly Little Harvard is an independent daycare center and kindergarten center. We have two locations in Orange County, NY.
Here at Little Harvard, we believe it is not too late to start learning! From the nursery, children create a fun, hands-on learning program that encourages children to explore and grow while using their imagination.
Your kids will love to spend their day with us! We work to maintain an inviting and informative atmosphere that encourages creativity and imagination. As part of the New York State Nutrition Program, we provide fresh healthy baby food.
Advanced Curriculum At Little Harvard Preschool
At our private private school, we are proud of a high quality curriculum that is fully compliant with the New York State Learning Standards.
Firstly Every day in our classes, your child will participate in science, math, literacy, music / movement, art and outdoor play. We believe in immersing your child in the weekly theme by providing him with the means to test and inquire about all his senses.
Experienced Staff At Harvard Preschool
Firstly We have experienced and well-trained staff with a low level of profits, which allows your children to build long-term and meaningful relationships. Their commitment to the field of education is reflected in their classroom management skills, curriculum development, creative space space and teaching enthusiasm. All teachers and teaching assistants have degrees in education or currently work with a degree Child Development Associate Certification (CDA). In addition, all staff members are trained in CPR and First Aid. Many have their own MAT (Medication Administration Training) certificates.
Founder
Our founder, Rhoda Cianco-Uszenski, is committed to the best teaching methods for children of all ages. Firstly He started his career working with middle and high school kids. He went on to become a college professor, teaching Children’s Education to future Teachers.
In May 1998, he opened Little Harvard in New Windsor, NY.
Due to the growing demand, we happily opened our second location in Washingtonville in 2001.
